Hi, I'm Rachael Tamane, a knitwear designer and tutor who has been knitting professionally for 18 years. Upon finishing my degree in Fashion and Textiles, specialising in knit, I went straight into industry, working as a designer in London for several years. I then progressed to teaching at the London College of Fashion (LCF), before moving on to the University of Brighton. I am passionate about teaching and passing on the skills and knowledge I have attained over my years in knitwear. Please don't hesitate to send me any enquiries you have about products or lessons!

Studio Tamanè was created to help keen knitters explore a multitude of techniques that can be learnt on the knitting machine. I have created a friendly and comfortable community setting where all abilities are welcomed. We are contemporary,

creative and want to inspire the next generation.

I teach, predominantly using ethically sourced 100% lambs wool from the UK.
